Outlook
It is PRT’s intention to plan activities, set off and manage the processes for which they are directly responsible in an active and conscious manner, thereby obtaining a constant development through a continuous environmental improvement.
Mission
PRT commits itself – apart from a prompt compliance with law requisites concerning environmental matters – to control, assess and improve the environmental impact of activities carried out directly or those which have an indirect influence, in order to obtain a supportable development. In particular, it is intended to pursue such commitment through implementation of an efficient environmental management system.
Action principles
During execution, co-ordination and supervision of activities, PRT undertakes to:

Make a continuous improvement, thereby reducing environmental impacts of activities and avoiding pollution.

Given that natural resources have terminated, develop company management and control policies in order to safeguard environmental resources.

Introduce, at a decision-making
and management level, the foundations for an improvement of production process environmental conditions together with a development plausible from an environmental point of view.
Environmental policy objectives
In order to achieve a continuous improvement in environmental performance, the company intends to:

Fully comply with environmental laws, rules and regulations;

Introduce technological improvements in productive process;

continuously improve environmental performance;

take measures to avoid pollution and utilize natural resources in a rational manner;

encourage active participation of employees in environmental management system;

influence, as far as competence is concerned, environmental aspects managed indirectly, in particular relationships with suppliers.
The company undertakes to control the progress of targets established and objectives achieved and assure that the environmental policy is included, diffused and activated by all parties concerned and that all persons in charge are duly informed.
